same book for me as well i really like the series though queen of the damned was not done well in movie form. there were just so many things wrong with that movie, at least interview kept quite close to the original story.

I just started reading Queen of the Damned today, so I don't know just yet how it was so different from the book.
But if you haven't read it, the movie's pretty good. I like it. I think Aaliyah did a great job as Akasha.

i have to agree with that. it still sucks what happened to her though. i need to reread the series again i haven't had a chance to in a while.
